Liquor Store

The average imbiber may not know this, but in most parts of the United States a licensee may sell or deliver alcoholic beverages on the following holidays: Columbus Day and Veterans' Day. However, what gets even trickier is how long those retailers may stay open. For instance, a liquor store in Massachusetts may remain open until 11:30 p m. on the day immediately before these holidays. Contact a liquor store in before heading out, so that you do not make a wasted trip

Additionally, in most parts of the United States liquor stores, manufacturers, wholesalers and importers may not sell or deliver alcoholic beverages on the following holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and the day after Christmas Day. However, hotels, restaurants, taverns and clubs may sell alcoholic beverages during the regular hours on Thanksgiving Day. All licensees may sell or deliver alcoholic beverages on New Year's Day, and liquor stores may remain open until 11:30 P. M. on the day immediately before New Year's Day.
It is also worth noting that, registered pharmacists may not sell alcoholic beverages or alcohol at any time during the day except upon the prescription of a registered physician on all mentioned holidays. One wonders if there could be a liquor store in that is also a register pharmacy--what would they do?
Everybody agrees that having a great time with family and friends is a lot of fun, and making sure that the local liquor store in is open will be important to know. Additionally, everybody agrees that driving while under influence is not fun. So be careful when you drive to the liquor store, and do not serve too much to your guests either. Home Page
