Dunkin Donuts is a well-known coffee and baked goods chain all over the world. With around 6200 Dunkin' Donuts shops worldwide, it is the largest coffee and baked goods chain in the world. It serves around 2 million customers per day in their coffee, donut, and bagel shops spread across more than 30 countries and territories

The company has their headquarters at Quincy, Massachusetts. Dunkin' Donuts has earned the world wide reputation over a period of five decades for brewing high quality coffee and doughnuts. Today it is the largest retailer of coffee-by-the-cup in the United States, and serves nearly 1 billion cups of brewed coffee in a year. Each second the company sells more than 30 cups of freshly brewed coffee. Dunkin' Donuts coffees are made from 100-percent Arabica coffee beans, and uses the original proprietary coffee blend recipe since its formation.

The company maintains its own quality specifications, called the Dunkin' Donuts Quality (DDQ) specifications, to make superior grade of coffee as recognized by the industry. Coffee beans from the farms are specially milled and processed maintaining the DDQ specifications, which ensures high standards of brewing and serving Dunkin' Donuts coffee in their stores. Rosenberg founded the Industrial Luncheon Services, a company that delivered meals and "coffee break snacks" to customers in the outer reaches of Boston, Massachusetts. Following the impressive success of his business Mr. Rosenberg opened his first coffee and donut shop with the name of "Open Kettle". Later, in 1950, Rosenberg opened the first store known as Dunkin' Donuts in Quincy, Massachusetts, which is still standing at 543 Southern Artery. In 1972, Dunkin Donuts started selling Munchkins, which were doughnut holes packed in boxes of 25 or 50.
